The classic Greek dish, Yiaorti Me Meli, simply means yogurt with honey. Traditionally served with almonds, this easy recipe has an American twist, by serving it with granola. I personally like to use vanilla blueberry granola, but you can use any granola of your choosing. The ratio of yogurt to granola, is up to you. I like to use 1/2 cup of yogurt and a 1/4 cup of granola. Would you like it to be a little heartier? Add fresh fruit, for instance, bananas or strawberries. The best part of this easy dessert recipe, it can be used for breakfast or a snack. If you have guests staying over, serve it in a martini glass. It elevates the dish from simple to elegant.
