Did you know that you can cook gnocchi in the oven? Well it is true! Now,I have never used refrigerated or frozen gnocchi. But, the gnocchi that is found on the shelves, in the pasta area of your grocery store, works perfect for this Sheet Pan Chicken And Gnocchi recipe. In this recipe, I use chicken tenderloins because they cook faster. I also coat my chicken with flour, and pan sear them, before placing them on the sheet pan. This is just a personal preference. But, you can place the chicken with the other ingredients, and it will come out just as good. Doing it this way, is more time efficient. Fresh broccoli is used in this recipe too. The broccoli comes out with a nutty flavor, which enhances the flavor of this recipe. Not a broccoli fan? You can use green beans or asparagus, no problem! So simple, that you can even have children help with this recipe. The more you have children help in the kitchen, the more it encourages them to try a variety of different foods.
In this Sheet Pan Chicken And Gnocchi recipe, I use parchment paper on my sheet pan. It is not a necessity, but it makes the clean up easier. The sheet pan I use is a Large Professional Baking Sheet, like the one from Prepared Pantry. This pan is not just for baking cookies! It is a great value, and if you do not have one, I encourage you to get one!
The Italian Herbs from Savory Spice, is a great spice to use for this Sheet Pan Chicken And Gnocchi recipe!
A seasoning, I use frequently is Goya Adobo Seasoning Without Pepper. You will see this in Sheet Pan Chicken And Gnocchi and many of my recipes!
