If you are looking for a vacation that starts from the moment you park your car, this is the place for you. Camelback Resort is known for skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing. But, there is so much more to do than winter activities. We visited in their "off-season," and trust me, Camelback Resort did not disappoint.
Don't worry about going hungry during your stay. Camelback resort offers several different restaurants to choose from. The best part, you do not have to drive to any of them. We started our morning by decorating our own doughnuts. Then, we visited Hemisphere, for a full breakfast. They have an amazing buffet with our favorite...an omelette station! Neptune offered us a range from sandwiches to seafood. While in Aquatopia, The Common Ground, satisfied everyone with lunch and light snack food. The Fly Boy served me a well deserved cocktail. Graffiti Pizza was the best. The pizza was exceptional and it is located near the Arcadia Mega Arcade. Talk about convenient! We even indulged in candy at Sweet Discovery.
After we checked into our suite, which had the most stunning views, we proceeded to book our activities. For my outdoor enthusiasts, there are so many to choose from. The Mountain Coaster and the 1000' Dual Ziplines were just a few we enjoyed. An entire day was spent at Aquatopia. This indoor waterpark is amazing. There is a wide variety of water slides and a wave pool. I could have spent the majority of my time in the indoor/outdoor jacuzzi. There are daily activities and special activities directed by the staff. The girls enjoyed making their own jewlelry with a Camelback Resort charm. In the evenings, Arcadia Adventures, kept everyone busy till their heads hit the pillows. Laser Tag and the Indoor Adventure Course was exciting. My youngest found the Rockwall to be a complete success. But, can we talk about the Arcadia Mega Arcade? This is an epicenter of games. The best part, the children do not walk away empty-handed. At the Treasure Chest, they were able to choose prizes from the games they played.
When my children ask if we can return, and we haven't left the parking lot, I consider the vacation a success. The staff was friendly, the activities were thrilling, and the accommodations were excellent. In the "off-season," Camelback Resort is the place to visit. We look forward to another vacation there soon.
If you are planning to go to the Maryland beaches, or you live in the Salisbury area, make it a point to go to the Salisbury Zoological Park. The Salisbury Zoo is not your traditional zoo. They have a fantastic playground, located outside the entrance. It is in a serene setting, and the children will love it. But, the zoo is amazing. We are talking monkeys, alligators, and jaguars...oh my! Don't forget to stop by the gift shop too. They have incredible items for all ages. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, to play at the playground or visit the zoo...is free!
Check out this great video and join us at the Salisbury Zoo!
The Cotton Top Tamarins were incredible. We wanted to take one home as a pet!
The color pink does not describe these beautiful flamingos.
This Jaguar was mesmerizing, My daughter nick-named him Spot!
We love going to our local farmers markets. But, when we travel, it is even more special. We like to sample the local flavors. From fresh fruits and vegetables to essential oils, there is something for each one of us to find. Nassau Vineyards Farmers Market, did just that, and then some!
Check out this great video as we visit Nassau Valley Vineyard's Farmers Market
A special thanks to Ada;s Picnic for letting us try the Shredded Carrot & Raisin Salad. It was fantastic! But, who is kidding, all the salads are amazing!
Stag Run Farm has everything. From Chrissy Bee's Honey, farm fresh eggs, and whole lot in between. You will find it here at Stag Run Farm.
If you love Italian Sausage, Pulled Pork Barbeque, or Meatballs, Papi Joe's Cafe has it. I am Italian, and picky about meatballs, but Papi Joe's are the bomb!

We traveled to Lewes, DE to attend the Pouches In The Park Event. It is located at the Lewes CanalFront Park and Marina. The setting is on the water with boats sailing by and an incredible playground. But, the "pups" were the star of the show. A place where your fur babies can make friends and their parents can socialize. A variety of merchants showing their newest products, and even dog trainers showing their secret tricks. Their students running and jumping through an obstacle course full of leaps and tunnels. It was incredible for all, my children and our fur babies, Chloe and Pappy.

No matter the size, all the fur babies were enjoying the sites.
There were vendors for every need. Even Fur Babies Boutique was there. And they have everything!
A demonstration was given by a local trainer and her students. And an exciting demonstration it was!
There were special treats for all the pooches.
There were puppies for adoption. They even let us hold one, but it was hard to give back
