My family likes to eat their chili, all different ways. Some like melted cheese over top of it, Others, like myself, like the chili over rice, with melted cheese, and finished with a spoonful of sour cream. You can substitute the ground beef for ground turkey...the taste is still amazing! You can also make this 30 minute chili vegetarian, by eliminating the meat and putting 2 extra cans of red beans into the chili. Mix it up and use other beans that you like too!
In this Homemade Chili Under 30 Minutes, I use McCormick Original CHILI Seasoning Mix in this recipe...I think they have the best flavor.

THINGS YOU NEED
2 lbs of ground beef or ground turkey
3 8 oz cans of dark red kidney beans, undrained
(5 if you are making it meatless)
4 15 oz cans of tomato sauce
5 tbsp of minced onion
3 tbsp of Adobo Seasoning
2 chili mix packets
3 tbsp of chili powder
2 tbsp of cumin
Salt
Pepper
DIRECTIONS

Place ground beef in a pan, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and cook on medium heat until brown.
When finished cooking, drain.

While ground beef is cooking, in a different sauce pot, combine dark red kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili packets, minced onion, chili powder, cumin, and Adobo Seasoning.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently

Mix cooked ground beef into chili mixture, on medium-high heat, stir frequently
After chili starts to bubble, turn down to medium low heat for 3 minutes
