This EASY LASAGNA RECIPE WITH 7 CHEESES & MEAT SAUCE is awesome! There are many shortcuts I have taken, and many more that you can take too. In a traditional lasagna recipe, you would cook onions and garlic, then add it to the sauce, and simmer for an hour. Instead, I add chopped garlic and minced onion to the sauce. It still gives you the flavor you are trying to achieve. The lasagna noodles would be boiled and then separated. But, in this easy lasagna recipe, we do not do that. I just mix the sauce, without simmering it. Think about it, it will still cook in the oven. For the lasagna noodles, I use oven baked noodles. You just place them within the lasagna. They cook while in the oven. In this recipe, I do create a sauce from scratch, but you can use your favorite spaghetti sauce, and it will turn out just fine. Just make sure you use 2 jars of sauce. To make this easy lasagna recipe even faster, turn it into a meatless lasagna. Instead of adding the meat layer, just stick with the 7 cheese mixture. It comes out amazing! For the meat sauce, I like to use use a meatloaf/meatball mix. But, you can use ground beef or even ground turkey. It still comes our tasty!
