All of my 2 Meals In 1 Recipes are designed to show you, through prepping, you can create 2 meals with some of the same ingredients as 1. Since we have a big family, all of my recipes are for at least 4 servings.
This 2019 Easiest Back To School Recipe is a menu for kids and adults to fall in love with. I have listed jars of spaghetti sauce in the ingredients list of ingredients, but you can use Ceci's Easy Spaghetti Sauce Recipe. It is quick and simple. I use a meatloaf mixture, just my personal preference. But, you can also use ground beef or turkey too. You can even eliminate the meat portion and make this recipe vegetarian...it turns out just as good!
INGREDIENTS
2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce or Ceci's Easy Back To School Spaghetti Sauce listed below
2 lbs of meatloaf mixture
1 large container of ricotta cheese
2 tbsp of Italian seasoning
2 tbsp of Adobo seasoning
4 cups of pre-shredded Italian cheese mixture
2 boxes of spaghetti
Non-stick cooking spray
Salt and pepper

Ingredients
2 Jars of Spaghetti Sauce or Ceci's Easy Back To School Spaghetti Sauce
2 large boxes pf spaghetti
2 pds of meatloaf mixture
2tbsp of Adobo
Salt and Pepper
Here’s How

Follow directions to cook spaghetti and drain
Refrigerate half of the spaghetti

Heat spaghetti sauce in a sauce pot, or follow directions to Ceci's Easy Spaghetti Sauce listed below

In a pan, cook meatloaf mixture on medium heat
Add 2 tbsp of Adobo
Add Salt and pepper to taste

When meat is browned, drain
Add to spaghetti sauce and stir till well blended
Refrigerate half of the meat sauce

Top spaghetti with remaining meat sauce

THINGS YOU NEED
Refrigerated meat sauce
Refrigerated spaghetti
1 large container of ricotta cheese
4 cups of pre-shredded Italian cheese
2 tbsp of Italian seasoning
Non-stick cooking spray
9x13 casserole dish
Aluminum foil
HERE’S HOW

Spray glass casserole dish with non stick cooking spray.
Preheat oven to 405 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, add spaghetti and 3/4 of meat sauce. Mix till well blended.
Place 1/2 of spaghetti mixture into bottom of casserole dish

In a bowl, stir Italian seasoning and ricotta cheese.
Spoon ricotta cheese mixture over the top of spaghetti mixture.
Spread evenly

Place the rest of the spaghetti mixture over the top of the ricotta cheese.
Spoon remaining meat sauce over the top and spread evenly.
Cover with aluminum foil and place into oven for 35 minutes

Take the casserole out of the oven.
Sprinkle Italian cheese mixture over the top of the casserole.
Place back into oven for 10 minutes or until cheese starts to brown

Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes to cool.
