Whether you are a couple on a romantic getaway, or a family taking a winter vacation, at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort, there are accommodations to fit everyone's needs. From suites to lofts, each room is warm and inviting. We stayed in The Mountain View King Suite, which sleeps up to 4 people. And trust me, there was plenty of room.
The Mountain View King Suite, at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort, consists of a living room, with a fireplace. The sleep sofa is queen size and comfortable. There is a dinette with a mini refrigerator, microwave, and a pod style coffee maker. The bedroom is just as spacious as the living room, including a desk and a king size bed. Both rooms have a flat screen television and overlook the snow covered slopes.
My daughter's were excited about the walk-in shower, a dressing area, and a large Jacuzzi. There is also plenty of areas where you can hang up your coats and put away your boots for the night,giving you the feeling of home. Just another reason why The Bear Creek Mountain Resort is The Best Place For A Family Ski Trip.

While enjoying your stay at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort, there are so many dining options to choose from, it is impossible to go hungry.
If you just want to grab a quick lunch or dinner from being on the slopes, The Mountain Eatery is the place to choose. From made to order sandwiches and salads, this eatery has something for everyone. You can also enjoy your quick bite while watching a sports game on the large flat screen televisions located outside The Mountain Eatery. There is plenty of seating, assuring you get back to the slopes quickly. The Bear Creek Mountain Resort has thought of everything!
At The Bear Creek Mountain Resort, start your day off at The Trail's End Cafe. They offer a variety of homemade muffins, pastries, and omelettes to order. But, at the Trail's End Cafe, it does not end there! This cafe also has a bar area which serves "pub" style food and gourmet pizzas.
The Grill At Bear Creek, is the premier restaurant at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Enjoy your dinner overlooking the slopes at night. The menu ranges from Calamari to Fillet Mignon. The service is incredible and the food is amazing.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort | Activities
Without stating the obvious, skiing is the main attraction at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort...or is it??? We are a family who love to ski, but have little experience. So, I was happily surprised to find out the list of activities and amenities that we could choose from.
As you are arranging your itinerary at Rental Services, you will notice The Bear Creek Mountain Camp Sign. This is a week long camp offered to children who are science explorers. And right next to it, is The Bear Creek Mountain Resort Daycare. This way parents and older children can hit the slopes knowing that your "littles" will not be forgotten.
We decided to concentrate on snow tubing. There is something exhilarating about flying down the slope, at warp speed, in an inner tube. This was my youngest daughter's first time, and even though she was nervous, the staff made her feel safe and secure. No worries here at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort.
After a quick game in the Arcade Room, it was time to make a splash! And, there are so many choices to choose from. First we dipped our toes into the indoor swimming pool. Not only is the water kept at a comfortable temperature, but so is the pool room too.
But, what if I told you that you could swim in an Olympic Size Outdoor Pool all year long? Well, The Bear Creek Mountain Resort, has thought of everything, You can enjoy being outside, with a snow covered mountain view, while playing, "Marco Polo". in the heated outdoor pool...Amazing!
But, our favorite, is the outdoor hot tubs. There is nothing that compares to sinking into hot water while tons of bubbles are dancing around you! We loved it so much, we played in The Bear Creek Mountain Resort hot tubs, during the day and at night!
But, the fun does not stop there! Would you like some real family quality time? Enjoy a board game while sitting next to the fireplace in the lobby. Take an outdoor hike, or make it interesting. With the help of our Concierge, we attempted to GeoCache. We were given a list of items and a GPS Tracker to help us find our hidden treasures.
And for adults only, you can start your day, working out at The Bear Creek Mountain Resort Fitness Room. This state of the art workout area has everything you need for those who like to maintain their fitness regiment while on vacation.
